Elizabethan fayre

This year an age old tradition will be revived in Prescot. To celebrate the traditional market time in the town, there will be a Fayre held at the end of May.

On Saturday 31st May, outside Prescot Parish Church, the fayre will offer an opportunity for people to come along and celebrate the towns long held traditional fayre, which in its original form dates back to the 14th century, and celebrate the long heritage of the town.

Attractions will include a variety of stalls including crafts, activities and traditional entertainment. There will also be an opportunity to tour the historic Prescot Parish Church which is approaching its 400th anniversary.

The event will take place on Saturday 31st May from 12pm onwards, next to Prescot Parish Church in Vicarage Place. Admission is free.
