Have your say

Knowsley Council would like to hear the views of lesbian, gay and bisexual people living in the borough about the possibility of setting up a new group.

The group would aim to build on the success of the Council’s lesbian, gay and bisexual workers’ group and would be open to all interested residents.

Armistead, an organisation which provides health advice and support for gay, lesbian and bisexual people in Knowsley, will help to establish the group.

Its purpose will be to create a safe environment where members of the LGB community in Knowsley can meet and address a range of issues, including helping the council and other agencies to make their services more inclusive.

An initial meeting will take place on June 19 in Huyton. If you would like to attend or give your views, please call 0151 443 3773 or email gwen.forkin@knowsley.gov.uk. Alternatively, you can contact Armistead on 0151 227 1893 or minicom 0151 227 1478.
