Tee off for charity

Businesses across the region are being reminded to swing into action and reserve their place in the highly anticipated annual Knowsley Mayor’s Charity Golf Tournament.

This year the tournament takes place on Thursday, 08th May 2008 at Blundells Hill Golf Club in Rainhill.

The event offers businesses and organisations in the Merseyside area, the opportunity to network with corporate associates in a relaxed social environment. .

Teams of four are invited to take part in a prestigious golf tournament, at a cost of £150 per team. This will includes a three course meal and 18 holes of gold under the Stableford rules.

The event usually raises in excess of £2,000 for the Mayor’s Charity. All proceedings from this year’s tournament are to be donated to the Willowbrook Hospice and St Bartholomew’s Nursing Home in Huyton.

The event, run by Knowsley Council’s events service, offers regional companies an unforgettable day to benefit their local community whilst extending their business networks.
