Public Notice - Licensing Act 2003

Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council (the Licensing Authority) has cause to review the premises licence held in respect of The L32, 130-140 Cherryfield Drive, Kirkby.

Merseyside Police have requested this review on the grounds that the L32 is associated with serious crime and disorder. This follows a recent serious incident of crime and disorder at the premise and the potential for further such incidents.

The Licensing Authority invites representations from interested persons and Responsible Authorities about this matter. Such representations must outline the grounds for the representations and must be received in writing by the Licensing Authority (address shown below) by 5pm on Monday 14 January 2008.

The record of this review can be inspected by members of the public between the hours of 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday at the office of the Licensing Authority which is located at;

Knowsley MBC, Computer Building, Westmorland Road (off Archway Road), Huyton, Knowsley, Merseyside, L36 9YU

The office of the Licensing Authority is open to members of the public Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) between 9am and 4pm. Any person who would like to view the record of this licence review between 4pm and 5pm should contact the Licensing Authority on 0151 443 3607 to make an appointment.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application punishable with a maximum fine of £5000 on summary conviction.
