• Fishing festival and junior golf

Do you have at home any keen anglers, 16 Years or under, or Golfers 18 Years and under?

Knowsley council has organized a number of events for young enthusiasts of these sports.

Friday July 25 Knowsley Junior Open Golf Tournament
at Bowring Park Golf Course, Roby Road, Huyton.

First Tee 9am Entry Fee £9.50. (Cadets under 12s £4.75p). This prestigious tournament is now in its 10th Year and goes from strength to strength and is open to official handicap golfers max 34, non handicap and cadets under 12's. Each of the three categories will compete in their own tournament on the day with prizes and trophies for the top two players in each category.

Thursday August 7 Knowsley Junior Fishing Festival
at Mill Farm Dam, Mill Lane, Towerhill, Kirkby.

Registration11.30am, entry £4.50. Open to 16 Years and under.
