During the bank holiday weekend Knowsley Council is making sure there is little disruption to the bin and recycling collection services.

Knowsley Council’s Directorate for Neighbourhood Delivery are advising residents to take note of the revised day. If you normally have your household waste or recycle waste (green and multiwaste) collected on Monday 27 August, this will be collected on 25 August, the Saturday before.

Residents are being encouraged to separate and recycle as much as possible and that some collections may not take place until late in the afternoon.

Stickers with details of the revised collection dates will be put on residents maroon refuse bins. Alternatively for more information on household rubbish collections and recycling please call the contact centre on 0151 443 2400 or visit www.knowsley.gov.uk.
