Learn a new skill with Knowsley libraries

Learn a new skill this September with your local library in Knowsley.

Choose from family history, local history, arts and crafts or creative writing, or take an online IT course such as e-Citizen, e-Type or ECDL to gain usable qualifications.

Places are limited so telephone your local branch to reserve your place and find out more.

All courses carry a £10 enrolment fee – ECDL and e-Type also carry accreditation fees.

e-Citizen online course
This course covers the basics of using a computer and word processing. It also covers using the Internet in depth, showing how to fill in online forms and shopping online. The course is available at any library in Knowsley.

e-Type
e-Type is a new qualification introduced and accredited by The British Computer Association. The course covers learning to touch type and to build up speed of typing.

ECDL – 12 months online course

The European Computer Driving Licence is a nationally recognised ICT qualification. You can enrol on the course at any library and study at your own pace.
