Kirkby life

Do you live in Kirkby?

Do you have a story to tell?

Would you like to be part of an exciting exhibition about your neighbouthood? Then please read on!

Knowsley Arts Service are collecting memories, stories, objects, images and conversations about your neighbourhood past and present, for an exhibition in Kirkby gallery called Kirkby Life.

PostCards/workshops

Knowsley Arts Service are supplying Kirkby community groups, schools and individuals with A5 size post cards with a space on the back of the post card for a picture (this could be a self portrait, drawing, photograph of a building etc).There will also be space for some writing, which could be a story, memory, message or tale to accompany the picture.

These postcards will line the gallery walls creating part of the Kirkby Life exhibition!

There will also be workshops available!

If you or your community group would like to be part of this exciting exhibition and would like to complete a postcard or you would like to know more about the project and workshops then please call Jo or Sarah at Knowsley Arts Service on 0151 443 5617 or email arts.galleries@knowsley.gov.uk.

Kirkby Life exhibition will take place in Kirkby Gallery/ library 10th September-26th November 2007.
