Access Tools

An exhibition celebrating the rich and diverse artistic talents of the people of Knowsley is now on at Kirkby Gallery, Newtown Gardens, Kirkby.

Knowsley Open is a collection of works submitted by artists from across Knowsley, ranging from photographs and paintings to textiles and sculptures.

Highlights include a display in the mezzanine gallery by St Marys Art Group - a collaboration of Knowsley Artists who have been meeting and painting together in Halewood for several years.

There is also a ‘Visitors Choice’ award which will be up for grabs for the piece of art rated most highly by those who view the display.

This year’s exhibition is the seventh annual Knowsley Open event, and is set to prove even more popular than in recent years with more than 150 works on display, many of which will also be for sale.

Knowsley Open runs until Sunday, August 26.
