Drivers Get Into Gear For Good Cause

Santa in taxi
Knowsley’s taxi drivers raised over £2,000 in memory of a young girl from Huyton.

Laura Schutt, 17, died earlier this year from cystic fibrosis. The money was donated to Alder Hey Hospital.

The money will be used on ward B3 where Laura was cared for and will help with essentials plus new toys and games.

Laura’s family and friends as well as staff from the Queens Arms pub in Huyton also helped fund raise.

On Christmas Eve a convoy of taxi drivers took the cheque to Alder Hey.
