Have Your Say at The Community Area Forums
The next cycle of Knowsley’s community
area forums will start on 11th October
and run for three weeks.
Knowsley Council and partners want to improve public service delivery at neighbourhood level and involve local people more in improvements.
This round of area forums will enable residents to hear about how this approach can be best implemented and give them an opportunity to have their say on these ideas.
It is intended that future public forums will be more relevant to each local area, and will deal with key local issues important to that community, with a particular focus on the standard and delivery of services at local level.
The forums will hear about a new approach to delivery - Neighbourhood Pride Teams that will be set up in each area to work on day to day issues involving anti-social behaviour and cleanliness of the environment.
This approach, combined with an influential new Partnership body for each area, looks to focus on delivering real improvements at neighbourhood level in partnership with the community.
These arrangements will be discussed during the October cycle where residents’ views will be taken into account. Knowsley residents are invited to come along to a convenient venue as detailed below.
North Kirkby Area Forum - Tues 11th Oct at 6pm, Kirkby Suite, Cherryfield Drive
North Huyton Area Forum - Wed 12th Oct at 6pm, River Alt Resource Centre, Woolfall Heath Avenue, Huyton
South Kirkby Area Forum - Tues 18th Oct at 6pm, Kirkby Suite, Cherryfield Drive
South Huyton Area Forum - Wed 19th Oct at 6pm, Malvern Primary School, Willoughby Road, Huyton
