What issues should Scrutiny look at?

Published on: Wednesday, 23-March-2016

Knowsley’s scrutiny members would like to hear your views about what important issues are affecting you. This will help them to decide what to scrutinise next year and so they can carry out their role offering challenge and promoting positive change.

This year, scrutiny members carried out six reviews this year looking at Knowsley’s Housing Strategy, waste management solutions, mental health services, cancer screening programmes, digital inclusion and the impact of welfare reform in relation to Universal Credit.

The recommendations which came out of these reviews have been supported by the council’s Cabinet and will be implemented over the next few years.

If you have an issue or area of interest like this, please send a message to scrutiny@knowsley.gov.uk, write to us at Policy and Partnerships Team, Municipal Buildings, Archway Road, Huyton, L36 9YU or call 0151 443 3367/3760.
