Temporary Road Closure – Moss End Way, Knowsley Business Park

Published on: Wednesday, 02-September-2015

Work has now started on the transport improvements at Knowsley Business Park.

The first phase of the Access and Connectivity Scheme will be to construct a new roundabout at the northern entrance to the park at Moss End Way/Perimeter Road junction.

To allow this work to be carried out safely, Moss End Way will be closed to traffic in both directions between its junction with Depot Road and Perimeter Road from Monday 7 September for approximately 10 weeks.

Diversion routes will be clearly signed via Perimeter Road, South Boundary Road, Lees Road, Ashcroft Road and Acornfield Road. See plan here.

Once Moss End Way is reopened to traffic, further temporary road closures will take place on North Perimeter Road and Perimeter Road consecutively. The exact dates of these closures and details of diversion routes will be made available closer to the time.

As with all major road works of this nature, it is inevitable that some disruption will be caused. However, this will be kept to an absolute minimum.
