Temporary Bus Stops - Knowsley Business Park

Published on: Monday, 26-October-2015

As part of the investment to improve access and connectivity at Knowsley Business Park, there will be two temporary bus stops positioned on Gale Road and South Boundary Road.

This will enable the gas and electricity utility companies to continue with the relocation of their underground pipes and cables.

The temporary bus stops will replace the four bus stops that are currently on Admin Road, South Boundary Road and Gale Road (please see map).

The work at South Boundary Road at its junction with Gale Road and Admin Road is being carried out by gas and electricity utility companies to relocate their underground pipes and cables to enable a new roundabout to be constructed in 2016.

The work by the utility companies is expected to be complete by the end of November 2015 and the construction of the new roundabout will start in January 2016.

To allow the work to be carried out safely, there will be temporary lane closures on South Boundary Road and reduced car parking facilities at the Business Resource Centre on Admin Road.
As with all major road works of this nature, it is inevitable that some disruption will be caused. However, this will be kept to an absolute minimum.
Any enquiries about the work can be directed to Irene Hopkins, Customer Liaison Champion at Dowhigh Ltd.
