Spaces photography competition

Do you have a special place that makes you feel good?

A new wellbeing photography competition in Knowsley is inviting people to submit images of a place or space that means something to them – whether an exciting place or a place to relax and feel at peace.

The ‘Spaces’ photography competition is being organised by Knowsley Council and is open to people of all ages, ability who live, work, volunteer or study in Knowsley.

The images should convey a place that represents “wellbeing”  - it could be an open field, the gym or even just that first cup of tea of the day… as long as it is something that makes you feel good.

The Spaces competition will be made up of three different categories - Spaces to Think, Spaces to Learn and Spaces to Meet. Download an entry form from Knowsley Council’s website and submit your entries before 11 September.

All entries will be available to view in an online gallery at www.flickr.com/groups/knowsleyspaces. Entries will also be part of the Knowsley Open art exhibition from September this year, while winning images will be on display in the Kirkby Centre later this year.

So, take a photograph of your calm, happy, friendly space and be a part of this exciting new competition!
