Roald Dahl Easter holiday library fun

Published on: Wednesday, 02-April-2014

The stories of Roald Dahl will inspire activities for school children in Knowsley’s libraries over the Easter holidays.

Children will be able to create hanging mobiles and canvas bags inspired by Matilda, the Witches or any of Dahl’s wonderful characters.

All the author’s greatest books will also be available for the children to read and borrow.

For the under 5s there will be Easter themed craft activities on offer in the libraries.

Cllr Eddie Connor, Knowsley’s Cabinet Member for Leisure, Community and Culture, said:

“Roald Dahl activities will be held in all the borough’s libraries so you can be sure there will be something going on near where you live to help you keep the children entertained over the Easter school holidays.

“Libraries are a great resource for children and by hosting fun activities over the Easter school holidays we hope it will not only help children have fun, but will hopefully encourage them to visit the libraries all year round.”

The following activities are taking place over the Easter school holidays:
