One You - small lifestyle changes can improve your health and wellbeing

Published on: Tuesday, 08-March-2016

Public Health England has today (7 March) launched its ‘One You’ campaign, which encourages adults to make small changes to their lifestyle in mid-life which double their chances of being healthy at 70 and beyond.

One You encourages people to reappraise their lifestyle choices, put themselves first and do something about their own health. This can include reducing your alcohol intake, cooking meals from scratch instead of opting for unhealthy meal choices, quitting smoking and being more active.

It’s never too late to improve your health and by making lifestyle changes now, it can double your chances of being healthy at 70 and beyond.

Further information about the campaign, as well as taking part in an online health quiz, called ‘How Are You’, is available on the Gov.uk website.
