Singer Chris Maloney, who shot to fame on ITV’s X Factor is among the star-studded cast of this year’s panto at Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park.

Chris will be stepping into the role of Prince Charming in family favourite show, Cinderella.

Joining him for the panto on December 6-7, will be fellow reality star Steven Hall from Britain’s Got Talent. Meanwhile, Reece Douglas from Waterloo Road takes to the stage as Buttons, whilst local girl Nicola McAllister, from Knowsley Village, takes the lead role of Cinderella.

Presented by Trio Entertainments, Cinderella is the classic rags to riches tale where dreams come true with a special invitation to the Ball. Cinderella is doomed to live un-happily ever after with her two horrible Ugly Sisters, but she manages with the help of her ‘silly’ friend Buttons and a ‘magical’ Fairy Godmother, making all her dreams come true!

Watch with amazement as her pumpkin is transformed into a beautiful coach in the most magical fairytale of them all.

Chris said: “It’s a great script and a great cast, so I’m really looking forward to it. And yes, my nan will be coming – I’ve got her front row seats!”
