Knowsley Apprentice now recruiting for 2014

Knowsley Council’s search for more apprentices has begun.

Do you know a young person who is looking for work and is keen to learn a trade? The Knowsley Apprentice could be just what they’re looking for.

No experience is required, just plenty of enthusiasm and a willingness to learn new skills is essential.

The offer for apprentices:

  • A work placement offering training to NVQ level 3 while they earn a wage
  • All apprentices will receive national minimum wage for their age (£6.31 aged 21 and over, £5.03 aged 18-20, £3.72 aged 16-17)
  • Each apprentice will have a mentor to call on for support in addition to a personalised support package
  • Opportunity to secure to a permanent job at the end of the placement

The current vacancies include roles in Customer Services, Finance, Business Administration and HR.
