Knowsley’s Local Plan – next steps

Published on: Thursday, 18-December-2014

From 19 September until 14 November 2014, Knowsley Council carried out a public consultation on proposed modifications to its Local Plan Core Strategy.

The Local Plan Core Strategy is an important planning document that will guide development in Knowsley up to 2028.

Over 2,000 responses were received during the consultation and these have been collated into a Report of Representations. This report has been sent to the Government Inspector who is overseeing the Local Plan Core Strategy’s Examination in Public.

The Inspector will now consider the report and decide how to continue with the Examination in Public. This decision is expected in January 2015.

The Report of Representations is available on the council’s website

Everyone who submitted a response will receive a letter or email from the council to confirm receipt of their response.
