Don’t miss Out of the Archive

Published on: Thursday, 03-September-2015

There are just a few more days left to enjoy Out of the Archive at Kirkby Gallery – an outstanding collection of images from one of the UK’s leading (and rare) photographic galleries: the Open Eye Gallery.

Out of the Archive closes on September 12 so don’t miss the chance to see this exhibition of photographs from the Open Eye’s archive, curated by one of Britain’s most outstanding photographers, John Davies.

The exhibition features work from some of the most important photographers of the past century. These include soviet spy Edith Tudor-Hart and former British soldier John Stoddart – see more information below. There are also images captured by Bert Hardy, Martin Parr, Chris Steele-Perkins and Tom Wood, plus some previously unseen discoveries.

Kirkby Gallery is situated within the Kirkby Centre on Norwich Way, Kirkby, Knowsley, L32 8XY. It is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and on Saturdays from 10am to 1pm.
