Could you be a voice for parents in Knowsley?

Two vacancies have arisen for Parent Governor Representatives to sit on the council’s relevant scrutiny committee as co-opted members.

The role will involve acting as a non-political voice for parents and representing the view and concerns of parents on all educational matters.

The appointments will be for a period of two years on a voluntary basis although travel expenses will be paid. You can find out more information here.

If you are interested, please download and complete this application form and return it by the deadline of Friday 1 April 2016.

Should three or more nominations be received, an election will begin on Monday 11 April for a period of four weeks. In the event that only two eligible nominations are received, the candidates will automatically take up the position with effect from Friday 20 May.
