BT update – 13 February 2014

Published on: Thursday, 13-February-2014

You may be aware that British Telecom (BT) has been experiencing difficulties with regard to their services since Saturday evening (8 February 2014) in the centre of the borough.

This is affecting telephone, broadband and TV services to homes, businesses and schools.

BT Engineers are working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to resolve the issues. They are estimating that the majority of services will hopefully be resumed as soon as possible next week although there is no confirmed date at this stage.

BT has indicated that many homes and businesses have already been reconnected. Customers are apparently being connected one at a time, so reconnections are taking place minute by minute.

For the latest updates relating to your telephone, broadband or TV service, please contact your telephone or broadband service provider.

Residents are being asked to support one another through this period of inconvenience. If you have any health and wellbeing concerns about a neighbour, please contact the Knowsley Access Team on 0151 443 2600.
