Clubmark accreditation scheme
As part of our ongoing commitment to
improve the quality of sporting clubs
in Knowsley, we have introduced an
accreditation scheme named Clubmark.
This is a Sport England accreditation
scheme that will lead to a better
quality sports club provision for
children and young people. In
partnership with Merseyside Sport, the
Knowsley Sports Development Team will
be promoting the accreditation scheme
throughout the borough.
One of the key aims of the clubmark scheme is to ensure the provision of a safe, effective and child friendly club. Clubs achieving accreditation will be able to display the Sport England Clubmark and their respective governing body logo as a sign of quality.
We have a dedicated officer who will meet with individual clubs to provide support, advice and help all those working towards the Clubmark accreditation.
