Stadt moers park

Stadt Moers Park covers more than 220 acres of land between Whiston and Huyton and includes meadow, woodland and pond habitats, set amongst a network of footpaths. The development of the Park has been an ambitious project in the heart of Knowsley to transform formerly derelict land into the largest area of public open space in the Borough.

  • There is disabled access to the Environment Centre and toilets. There are circular routes around the park for wheelchair users.

Opening days and hours

The Park is always open however, the Environment centres do not have specific opening times. They are the focus for the parks use and local activity in the area and are used by various community and environmental groups. Please contact us for further details.

How to get there

Stadt Moers Park is located on Pottery Lane, Whiston, Knowsley, Merseyside.

By Rail: the nearest station is Whiston.

By Road: From the M62 junction 6 take Windy Arbor Road from the roundabout, signposted to Whiston. Continue to the T-junction and turn left into Greenes Lane. Follow the road round to the right over the bridge into Pottery Lane. The Visitor Centre and car park is on the left before the motorway bridge.
