Millbrook park millennium green

As part of the Millennium Commission project Millbrook Park was transformed into Millbrook Park Millennium Green with the support and help of the local community. In December 2000 the first phase of the creation works on the Millennium Green was completed.

Millbrook Park Millennium Green is in Trust to the community for 999 years. If you are interested in joining the Trust contact the Sustainability and Environmental Development Division.

  • Limited car parking on Old Hall Lane
  • Much of the park is accessible by wheelchair

How to get there

The Green is situated on Old Hall Lane, Kirkby, Knowsley, Merseyside. It is easily accessible from Kirkby Town Centre, Kirkby Row, Tower Hill and Old Hall Estate.

By Rail: The nearest station is Kirkby. For timetables please contact Mersey Travel on 015 236 7676.

By Road: - From M57 junction 6 take Valley Road from the roundabout, signposted Kirkby Town Centre. Continue to another roundabout and turn left into Kirkby Row. Take the first right into Old Hall Lane. The Viking Ship entrance is on the left before the church.
