Joining a library
To join one of our libraries, simply
fill in the application form below and
take along to your nearest library
along with some identification (proof
of your name, address and date of
birth).
All information held on our computer is covered by the Data Protection Act and will not be given to any unauthorised person or organisation.
Once you become a library member you will be given a membership card, which you should take with you each time you visit the library.

As a library member you can:
- Borrow up to 20 books or talking books from any Knowsley library for 3 weeks.
- Borrow and renew DVDs for 50p.
- Reserve books that are not immediately available.
- Return your books to any Knowsley library.
- If you lose your membership card you can have a replacement at a charge of 65p. Any further replacements will cost £1.00.
When you have selected the books you
want to borrow, take them to the
counter and hand them to one of the
staff along with your membership card.
Each book will be stamped with the date it is due back and your membership card will be returned to you. To return books simply hand in your books at the counter and wait until a member of staff has cancelled the loan on our computer system.
