Civil Wedding and Partnership Ceremonies
The Octagon, Gallery and Stadt Moers rooms in the Knowsley
Civic Suite are licensed to hold a civil wedding or civil
partnership ceremony. It costs £100 to hire the Octagon for a
ceremony and £50 for the Gallery or Stadt Moers.
After deciding your wedding date contact the
Registrar’s Office to find out the legal requirements for marriage
and to check their fees and availability.

The Octagon
This versatile room has an excellent dance floor and is ideal
for functions for 130 to 230 people. It is licensed for civil
wedding or partnership ceremonies.
Room hire: £100
The Gallery
The Gallery has a bar, dance floor, private foyer area and cloak
facilities, and is licensed for civil wedding or partnership
ceremonies. Room hire: £50
The Heritage Lounge
This room has its own bar, and is suitable for smaller wedding
breakfasts for 20 – 60 guests. Room hire: £50
The Stadt Moers Room
The Stadt Moers room can accommodate ten to 35 people and is
licensed for civil wedding or partnership ceremonies. Room hire:
£50.
Wedding Breakfast and Evening Buffet
Create your own wedding breakfast by selecting a starter, main
course and dessert from an extensive range of dishes.
For the evening you can design your own buffet by choosing from a
tempting array of hot and cold dishes or leave it to us by
selecting one of the menus set by our excellent chefs. Cold buffets
start from £9.80 per head (60 people minimum) and hot and cold
buffets from £7.90 per head (100 people minimum).

All of our main courses are served with your choice of roast,
new, Parisienne or duchess potatoes and a selection of fresh
vegetables.

Table decoration
Professionally dressed chairs and tables add an elegant
finishing touch to a wedding reception. Decoration packages
including chair covers and table runner in your colour choice, a
stunning centrepiece, tealights and balloons start at £55 for a
table of ten.
Evening entertainment
You can supply your own band or disco for your evening
reception, or let us book your musical entertainment from our
approved list. Prices from £150.
