Knowsley to Celebrate its Business and Regeneration
Successes
Knowsley Council's highly acclaimed Business Awards are this
year to be rebranded Knowsley Business and Regeneration Awards with
the inclusion of a number of categories celebrating successes in
the built environment as well as economic prosperity.
We therefore want to know your success stories. Does your
business or an employee deserve to be recognised for their
achievements? Have you been impressed by someone else's performance
and feel they deserve wider recognition? Tell us about your
accomplishments.

Celebrate your success. Entering these awards
can offer many benefits for your business, including the
opportunity to showcase your business and prove to your customers
and suppliers how successful you are, as well as opening doors to
new opportunities.
Who Should
Enter?
Nominations are welcomed from individuals and
businesses based within the borough of Knowsley. Applicants
can self-nominate or if you’ve been impressed by someone else’s
performance and feel they deserve wider recognition you can
nominate on their behalf (please check they are happy to have their
name put forward).
How to Enter?
It is free to enter the Knowsley Business and
Regeneration Awards. Simply choose the category or
categories most suitable for your business achievements
(maximum of 3 categories), complete the nomination form and return
it to the address shown at the bottom of the
form. Alternatively you can email the competed
entry form to irene.johnson@knowsley.gov.uk
Entries must be received
by Tuesday 30th August 2011 after which
the judging panel will take place and shortlisted nominees will be
contacted.

Requirements
· Entries must be
submitted on the standard entry form (max 500
words)
· Nominated
businesses must be based in the borough of Knowsley
· Nominated
individuals must be resident in Knowsley or work in Knowsley
· The closing date
for entries is Tuesday 30th August, 2011
· Nominations are
limited to a maximum of 3 award categories

Award?
Would you like to sponsor a Knowsley Business
and Regeneration Award? Sponsors receive wide recognition and
will receive 2 complimentary tickets to the prestigious dinner and
awards ceremony. They also present the award to the winner,
as well as receive publicity through our marketing and promotional

Awards Ceremony
Winners will be announced at a dinner and
awards ceremony to be held on Friday 7th October 2011 at
the Huyton Suite, Knowsley. Places are limited so please note
your interest in attending the awards early and we will confirm
places with you in due course. Last year’s ceremony was
oversubscribed and attracted more than 240 guests including
industry figureheads and members of parliament.
