EYFS SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 2
Pay Band D / SCP 14-17 
£16,781- £17,772 pro rata per annum

[Actual Salary : £8,248 - £8,734 per annum ]
20 hours per week / 46 weeks per year

Temporary pupil support contract linked to Early Years Foundation Stage Learning - appointment asap.  The working pattern will be 9.00a.m. –1.00 p.m.  The role will include working with the class teacher and EYFS staff  in the following ways to support a small group of SEN children;

  • Develop both their understanding and use of their language and support their development of a functional communication system.
  • Develop their mobility and coordination
  • Support the child in engaging with other children confidently.
  • Develop their literacy and numeracy skills so they are commensurate with their ability range.
  • Develop the childrens’ level of self-help skill and independence,.
  • Contribute to and take a lead role in the provision of a physically safe, accessible and supportive educational environment in which the children’s needs are supported.

    You must hold an NVQ2 for Teaching Assistants or be working towards it, have strong behaviour management skills and be able to use ICT to support learning. You must also hold a Level 1 qualification in Maths and English. Experience of SEN and EYFS.
