Housing, however the service is funded
by Knowsley Council, with further
funding provided by an Npower Health
Through Warmth Community Project Grant
for the Home From Hospital part of the
agency's activities.
The service will help eligible, vulnerable owner-occupiers with advice on suitable financial assistance in the form of loans, assistance in finding a reliable contractor, and provide direct assistance for repairing minor items.

Care and Repair , dealing with repair
issues, helping with finding and using
contractors, help with grants and
assistance in obtaining loans,
including a new Equity Release Scheme,
and other assistance where appropriate
The Home From Hospital scheme which was set up to provide essential and speedy repairs to unfit properties preventing vulnerable patients from being released from hospital. Knowsley Council's partners in this are Npower Health Through Warmth and Knowsley Primary Care Trust
A Handy Person scheme for carrying out minor repairs for vulnerable owner occupants
Disabled Facilities Grant assistance for adaptations for disabled owner- occupiers in conjunction with the Community Occupational Therapist and Social Services.
The Supporting People Scheme will be assisted, through Social Services, as the scheme comes into use.
