Welcome to Health and Social Care

What is the Knowsley Care Partnership?
The Knowsley Care Partnership supports
local providers of health and social
care to access Government funding to
train and qualify their staff. This
is in line with the Government
objectives from the Community Care Act

There are two levels of funding:
There are two levels of funding:
National Training Strategy
- This can be used to train staff who are unqualified
- You must be a care provider within the Knowsley borough
- The staff you want to access the funding must be employed in Knowsley
Training Support
- This is tied to being a member of the Care Partnership
- You cannot have double funding for a candidate
- There must be an adult trail within your organisation of the funding received and how you have used it to support staff
The Care Partnership shares
information and resources and supports
one another as a group, as well as
keeping you aware of what is happening
within Knowsley's health and social
care sector. We are one of 22
partnerships.
