We know that not all unexpected major
problems happen during normal office
hours or can wait until the next day.
Social Services provides an Out of
Hours team that is there to help with
these emergencies. This service
operates from 5pm to 9am weekdays, all
weekend and public holidays.
To contact the Out of Hours Team phone 07659 590 081.
The team manager will answer the phone and take details of the problem and your contact details. They will then pass this information over to the duty Social Worker.
The duty Social Worker will contact you and give you advice and guidance over the phone on how to deal with the problem, or they will either:

- recommend that you contact another more appropriate agency. They will give you the contact details.
