providing a coordinated
service for people experiencing the
effects of drug misuse.
Knowsley Drug and Alcohol Social Work Team
Knowsley's Drug and Alcohol Team are a borough wide service who provide assessment, support, advice and information to individuals whose drug misuse is problematic and who do not easily access existing services. The taem also offers assessment for residential rehabilitation services, advice information to families/carers. Referrals can be made to Knowsley's Drug and Alcohol social Work Team - Telephone 0151 443 5626, or alternatively you can fill in the online application form below.Lighthouse Project
Lighthouse Project is a voluntary sector organisation providing secondary services that are an important part of the drug strategy. It offers an open access advice and information service offering drug users an immediate response and can be accessed through a drop-in facility or by an appointment. Referral can be made over the telephone. Appointments will be offered within a maximum of 5 working days. - Needle and syringe exchange schemes
- Family/Carer Support, information and advice.
- Housing/Welfare Rights
- Sexual Health Advice
- HIV and Hep C/B advice, information and support.
- Education and Training about drug issues.
- Support for you through your GP via the PCT Shared Care Scheme
