Knowsley Department of Health and Wellbeing links closely to the Drug and Alcohol Action Team, Knowsley Primary Care Trust, Lighthouse Project, ASK (Alcohol Services Knowsley) Merseycare NHS Trust and the 5Boroughpartnership NHS Trust in providing a coordinated service for people experiencing the effects of drug misuse.

Knowsley Drug and Alcohol Social Work Team

Knowsley's Drug and Alcohol Team are a borough wide service who provide assessment, support, advice and information to individuals whose drug misuse is problematic and who do not easily access existing services. The taem also offers assessment for residential rehabilitation services, advice information to families/carers. Referrals can be made to Knowsley's Drug and Alcohol social Work Team - Telephone 0151 443 5626, or alternatively you can fill in the online application form below.

Lighthouse Project

Lighthouse Project is a voluntary sector organisation providing secondary services that are an important part of the drug strategy. It offers an open access advice and information service offering drug users an immediate response and can be accessed through a drop-in facility or by an appointment. Referral can be made over the telephone. Appointments will be offered within a maximum of 5 working days. Telephone 0151 489 3005
