The podiatry service works directly
with the community older people’s team
to assess, treat and provide foot
health advice to older people, whose
foot problems may impede their
mobility, their independence or
increase their risk of falling.
Assessments and treatments take place at the following:

- In the local podiatry clinics within Knowsley
- In the persons own home if they are totally unable to attend a clinic
- In Huyton Resource Centre, Kirkby Resource Centre or St Barts Nursing Home for those undergoing a rehabilitation programme.
