Employment and training advice

The vocational support service empowers people with disabilities to access meaningful and relevant training opportunities as a means to achieving an improved quality of life.

We provide an informal and friendly first point of contact for information about the service and how to access it through the care management service. We tailor training and employment issues to meet individual needs and aim to:

  • Provide advice and guidance to achieve your employment goals
  • Search and develop employment opportunities with local employers including work tasters and placements, voluntary placements and paid employment
  • Ensure you work in a safe environment
  • Provide nationally recognised training if required
  • Provide a job coach to work one to one if required
We can offer a range of supported opportunities within one of our three in-house businesses: joinery, catering and compilation & trophy service. This is for those who may be unsure about trying external work placements or require additional support. Contact us using the details at the bottom of the page for further information.
