Knowsley’s domiciliary care service provides personal care for adults and older people, supporting you to live independently and protecting you from exploitation and harm.

How do I access the service?

You can contact OPUS (older people’s unified services) by calling one of the numbers below.  You can also complete an online application, and a member of the team will contact you.

  • OPUS Home Support North – 0151 443 4173
  • OPUS Home Support Central – 0151 443 3714
  • OPUS Home Support South – 0151 443 4614

When we hear from you we will arrange a care assessment which will help us to identify what you are having difficulty with and how we can help you to continue to live at home.

What help does the service provide?

The team assist you and your family to make informed choices about your care.  You may be assessed as needing help with feeding, bathing or toileting or help with domestic chores.

We have five registered offices. Three operate locally in Kirkby, Huyton and Prescot/Halewood.  The other two offices provide borough wide services and specialise in old age mental health and intermediate care.

Whatever your needs, you can be sure that we treat service users and families with dignity and respect.
