Carers allowance

The Carers' Allowance is a benefit paid to full time carers over
16 years of age, who spend more than 35 a week caring for someone
who receives any of the following benefits:
- Attendance Allowance
- Disability Living Allowance (Middle or higher rate care)
- Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit Constant Attendance
Allowance
- War Pensions Constant Attendance Allowance
If you are in full time education or earn over a certain amount,
you are not eligible to receive the benefit.
