Knowsley 6th Form College

Knowsley 6th Form College offers a common curriculum and timetable for all sixth form students in the borough, which will make choosing your future easier and geared more readily to meet your needs.

Working in partnership with Knowsley Community College’s Roby Sixth Form Centre, Halewood Centre for Learning and All Saints Catholic Centre for Learning, the Knowsely 6th Form College offers a wide range of sixth form courses that provides learners with a opportunity to access the best teaching professionals and facilities across the three campuses.

Building on the past achievements, the Knowsley 6th Form College offers students a friendly and caring environment that will strive hard to achieve the best from its students by encouraging you to achieve academic excellence along with providing a rewarding post 16 educational experience.
 
In addition, other post-16 courses are also available at Knowsley Community College’s Kirkby campus.

What makes us different?

Knowsley has brought together its sixth form providers to help you achieve the highest possible results.  Through the opening of its ground breaking Centres for Learning, brand new buildings and state of the art IT facilities will also be available to support learners in achieving their goals. 

Courses are delivered by the most experienced professionals across all three campuses. This will enable to you to access the highest quality teaching and learning, along with excellent student support, and select the course combination that suits you best.

The campuses together offer a wide ranging curriculum that includes A levels, the new Diplomas and BTEC (Business & Technology Education Council) programmes, as well as high quality apprenticeships and work-related learning. There is also a GCSE offer that will prepare students to enter the level 3 courses at a later stage.

Facilities

The Knowsley 6th Form College is across three campuses,  two of which are located at the brand new Halewood Centre for Learning and All Saints Catholic Centre for Learning. Both have centres within them designed specially to cater for sixth form learners with flexible teaching and learning methods supported by modern ICT equipment.
Centrally located Roby Sixth Form Centre, part of KCC, has recently undergone a refurbishment programme further improving its college facilities.

Learner Support

All three campuses provide support and guidance for learners to ensure that they achieve the best.  In addition to facilitate the best course combination for you a good transport system is available, so students will be able to travel between all venues during the day if required.
