1. I would like more information about the commercial waste collection service - do I pay for this service?
There is a charge for this service. Please call our Environmental Helpline on 443 2400 for details.
2. My commercial waste bin has been missed. How do I report this?
If we have not emptied your bin by 5pm on your normal collection day and there does not appear to be any reason why we missed your bin e.g. vehicle unable to gain access to your premises, or damaged bin, then please accept our apologies and call our Environmental Helpline on 443 2400. They will first check with the collection team to see if there were any obstructions to access and advise you accordingly. If not, they will arrange for your bin to be emptied.
3. Do you provide recycling collections to businesses?
The council does not provide a commercial recycling collection service but other local provideers will be listed in Yellow Pages. Further information or advice on waste reduction and recycling can be obtained from the Waste and Resources Action Programme (WRAP) Helpline 0808 100 2040, Envirowise Helpline 0800 585 794.
