The Building Control service has a statutory duty to deal with dangerous buildings and structures, including open and derelict properties, throughout the borough. 

Reporting a problem
If you are concerned that the structure of a building is unsafe or dangerous, telephone 0151 443 2380. The service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Our objective is to safeguard public safety by dealing quickly with any situation which may arise.  We will take the necessary steps to remove any potential danger.
