Environmental crime is detrimental to our environment and quality of life. It relates to activities such as:

You can report environmental crime incidents to the council by contacting 443 2400 or by completing the online form. All details provided will be treated as confidential.
We can, and do, prosecute residents and businesses who commit environmental crimes and our enforcement officers are working hard to tackle these problems. Our enforcement action follows clear guidance to officers laid down in the council's enforcement policy. We are also working on an environmental crime strategy, which will be available shortly.
