Bridges to Inclusion Mentoring
Education (BTIME) has been set up to
provide positive mentoring
relationships for vulnerable young
people in Knowsley. We are committed
to training and linking mentors to
young people and offering a range of
activities to encourage the sharing of
positive experience. The project is
funded by the Youth Justice Board and
concentrates on young people aged 10-
18 years.
Some information:
Some information:
- Those interested in becoming a mentor will be invited to a briefing event. An application form will need to be completed, and references will be requested.
- We look for qualities and values and the ability and willingness to work enthusiastically within our approach.
- Mentors will undergo 4 days training and meet regularly with their own professional supervisor.
- Young people that have a mentor are less likely to become involved in crime and are more likely to enter education.
- Training as a mentor gives you a valuable qualification which employers will value. It is also a positive and enjoyable life experience.
If you would like to become a mentor
