Higher education grant
The higher education grant is assessed
on your family income and you do not
have to repay the grant.
You may be entitled if you are a fulltime, sandwich or part time initial teacher-training student if you started your course in 2004 or later.
The grant is a maximum of £1000 for the year. If your household income is less than £16,750 then you will be entitled to the full amount.
If your income is between £16,751 and £22,734, you will receive part of the grant.
If your income is over £22,735 you will not receive any grant.
The grant will be paid in three installments with your student loan.
