Leadership
Leadership and management are vital to creating new models of practice and delivery and is a key focus for Knowsley Children's Services workforce. It is important that the leaders and managers within all areas of the children's workforce are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to work with and manage resources for children, young people and their families and carers, and sustain the changes being brought about to the services delivered.
Leaders and managers should identify the needs of both staff and service users. As we see the creation of multi-agency teams and services there is a need for specialist skills and knowledge to undertake the line management and supervision and enhance these new teams and services.
