Supplying goods, services, and works to Knowsley Council –
important changes
Knowsley Council has introduced an electronic system for
tendering and quotations (known as The Chest) to enable existing
and potential suppliers to view all forthcoming contract
opportunities for Knowsley and other Councils in the North
West.
Any organisation interested in supplying to Knowsley Council can
register online to receive e-mail alerts for all
opportunities.
The new electronic portal will allow you to make requests for
details of contract opportunities at your convenience.
When your organisation is invited to take part in the tendering
process you will be able to download documents from the portal and
when you have completed your submission you will be able to upload
your finished documents back to the portal.
You can amend your submission as many times as you think
necessary up until the date and time that the opportunity
closes.
The portal is a secure site and you will receive an e-mail
notification that your submission has been received.
There is no charge for using this service.

YPO is a purchasing consortium of which Knowsley Council is a
founding member. With nearly 30,000 active accounts YPO is a one
stop shop supplier for local authority and school customers across
the whole of the UK. Potential suppliers can keep up-to-date with
contract opportunities by visiting their electronic tendering web
page where full details of each contract can be found.

Constructionline
The Council uses the Constructionline register of qualified
construction contractors and consultants as a method of procurement
for works contracts.
Contractors wishing to be considered for building work within
the Council should register with Constructionline at:
