Our mission is to improve people’s lives by supporting more people to become more active, more often.

We operate all council leisure facilities throughout Knowsley, and are the biggest leisure provider in the borough.  Giving you access to over 250 fitness stations, group exercise programmes, swimming and aquatics activities, sauna and steam facilities, badminton and football pitches plus much more.

Whatever your health and fitness goals may be we have a full range of facilities and activities available to help you along the way.  We hope that you enjoy having a look round our web site, and please do not hesitate to contact us using the contact form if you require any further information or would like to make a comment.

Active Knowsley is part of the Department of Wellbeing Services, a partnership between Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council and Knowsley PCT.

Our key partnership with NHS Knowsley has enabled us to deliver against key objectives for not only the council, but the NHS.  This includes the Activity for Life and Healthy Workforce schemes, which are having positive impact on the health of people within the borough.
